Frequently Asked Questions

What primary services do you offer?

We offer fine art pieces using photographic images from Chincoteague and Assateague, Virginia and surrounding areas. Images are available as metal prints, canvas prints, standard prints, and more!

What products do you offer?

We offer a variety of products including wall art, desk sized images, and other products.

Most of our customers choose pieces for 1-3 walls (either single large images or groups of smaller images)  within a home as well as additional pieces for desks, mantles, etc.

We hope you will take time to consider what size products and what materials will best fit your decor, your personal preferences, as well as the subject being photographed.

What size should I get?

– Consider a 40×60 print for a large wall, perhaps over a sofa. Alternately, consider a grouping of 3-5 prints – one 24×36 and two or four 16×24.
– Consider a 24×36 print for a wall near a kitchen table. Alternately, consider a grouping of 3-5 prints – one 16×24 and two or four 8×10.
– Consider an 11×14 print for a small space like in a narrow hallway.
– Consider a 5×7 or 8×10 for a desk or on a mantle.

NOTE: Exact print dimensions may vary based on the image itself – some images look better very wide or very tall; others may look better in a more square aspect ratio.

Please measure your space before ordering!

What is the difference between metal prints, canvas prints, etc.?

Metal prints are amazingly vibrant high-definition photos on aluminum. Metal prints are best for images with vibrant colors and deep contrast to ensure the aluminum can showcase your photo in the best light. Metal Prints are made by infusing your image into specially coated aluminum. This results in photo prints so vivid and life-like, they appear to be lit from within.

Canvas prints are classic and timeless, making them a natural fit with all decor styles. The versatility also means that they’ll look great in your home for years down the road as your home decorating tastes change. Because of the satin-matte finish, they will not show reflections like framed prints, making them the perfect solution in brightly lit rooms.

Acrylic blocks are made by mounting the front of a photo print to optically clear acrylic. Acrylic amplifies the image and makes a stunning piece for a desk or mantel. Our thick Acrylic Blocks stand vertically or horizontally without an easel.

Standard prints can be framed or put into albums. We use Kodak Endura Professional paper in Lustre surface. This paper is great for traditional printing and produces vivid color and excellent flesh tones.

How much do you charge?

Our fine art pieces range from a few dollars to $1000+.  Full pricing options are available from our gallery pages.

I have a crazy photo/art idea!

Talk to us about it! We’re always up for a challenge!

Can I just buy digitals?

Are you sure that’s what you want???

How many of us go back to floppy disks, CDs or USB drives from years past (if they still work)?  On the other hand, wall and desk photos bring back memories every time we walk into the room! And photo books can last a lifetime!

We strongly encourage every customer to purchase prints, canvases, or other photo products to keep those memories for years to come.

All that being said, some customers want to post their favorite images on social media, and photos can be used for holiday cards or on custom items. Therefore, we offer social media-sized images (with watermark), HD-sized images (available with or without watermark) for screen backgrounds or greeting cards, and full-resolution non-watermarked images. (e.g., One customer had images printed on 3 foot square acoustic panels and installed them in a home theater!)

All digital images for personal use only unless otherwise discussed.

I’m a little confused.  Can I talk to someone before I order?

ABSOLUTELY!  Please feel free contact us via phone, text or email.  Most calls and emails are returned the same day.

Do you support any charities?

Yes! We currently provide free photo services and/or financial support to several local organizations, including:
– Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland
– National Capital Therapy Dogs, Inc.
– South Columbia Baptist Church
